| Acu-Rite 00896 Wireless Rain Gauge is a compact wireless rainfall measuring system that’s easy to set up and operate!
Featuring a stylish black self-emptying rectangular rain collector and a black-with-silver main display unit, this Acu-Rite Wireless Rain Gauge indicates rainfall amounts in inches or millimeters. The wireless rain gauge has an effective range of 100 feet.
This main console is backlit for easy night viewing and has a folding stand for table use. It is also wall-mountable and displays a graphical icon (no rain, light rain, heavy rain). An audible rain alarm can be activated that beeps for 10 seconds when the rain mode changes.
The self-emptying collector measures 0.02 inches of rain with each swing of the internal counting lever. You can also choose the time period between rainfall measurements or keep a running total up to the 99.9-inch maximum.
